We have two teams at youth levels and both play in the West Wales Youth League.

Clydach FC have continued to offer youth team football to players aged 16-18 this season. We see this as a great opportunity to bridge the gap between Junior football and Senior football that many young people find so difficult to adapt to. Following a large intake of players during pre-season, we took the opportunity to add a second youth team this season which was a huge positive for our club. Our 'A' Team are coached by Tim Daley, Nicky Ryan and Rob Havard and our 'B' Team are coached by Steve Ellis and Rob Beale. As with everything at our club, we are so fortunate to have so many people willing to give up their time on a Sunday afternoon to ensure these games go ahead.
We have nearly 50 players registered in this particular age bracket who have all played youth team games at some point during the season. Whilst also helping with the journey from Junior football to Senior football, the other key aim when setting up teams at this age group is to also provide a genuine pathway to our senior teams. Many of the players make themselves available every Saturday and Sunday and all our teams benefit. If you watch any senior game from our First Team through to our Fourth Team, you will see several youth team players in every side. Of the current crop of youth team players, we have seen 10 of them involved with the First Team at some point - Zahid Islam, Cody Key, Ashton Shepherd, Kian Jenkins, Dan James, Owain Harris, Mckenzie Downey, Rhys John, Josh Young and Tom Gorvett. There are also several other current and former First Team players who have played youth team football for Clydach FC along the way.
Both teams have played some great football at times throughout the season and look forward to strong finishes to finish as high in the league table as we can. Kian Jenkins leads the scoring charts for the 'A' Team with Cody Key laying on the most assists. Jacob Crane is the top scorer for the 'B' Team with Kieran Curtis providing the most assists.
Our 'A' Team has managed to reach the semi finals of the West Wales Youth Cup where they play Rhos on Sunday, 7 April 2024. I am sure the boys will welcome your support as they aim to become the first Clydach FC team to win some silverware at Youth level.
